Katie Meeks has been in the refractive eye surgery world for over 20 years serving the Baltimore area. She is the Practice Manager and Administrator for Goel Vision located in both Towson and Columbia, Maryland.

She first fell in love with LASIK when she had her own life-changing procedure in 1999. Wearing glasses since elementary school and having a high prescription, the procedure was life-altering. She remembers having her procedure, waking up the next day, and knowing that she wanted to get herself working in the refractive world to help others change their lives and vision too.

A few short years later she started working in Baltimore, Maryland at a LASIK center, first part-time at the front desk. In 12 years, she progressed full-time from front desk, to technician, to patient coordinator, to assistant manager and finally to Practice Manager where she learned and embraced the feel of a boutique refractive practice.

In 2019, Goel Vision was started with the same mindset of a patient-oriented practice offering the exact type of center that Katie loves. Customer service is her top priority! She enjoys her time with patient interaction and likes to get to know each patient personally so that they feel everyone is at home and family when in the office.

Katie has 19 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces, who are the LOVES of her life and she prides herself on having a strong and fruitful relationship with each and every one of them. Family is the most important thing to her!

In college, she majored in Music so that has always been a favorite hobby and she leads her church congregation in singing every Sunday morning during mass.

For Katie, business is really about relationships, and she enjoys meeting new people and making great giving connections.
