Alec is the President and CEO of Tate Engineering, a family-owned industrial service company headquartered in Baltimore—serving Maryland; Virginia; Pennsylvania; Delaware; and Washington, D.C.

Tate Engineering was founded in 1924 by William Tate, Alec’s great-grandfather. Tate sells and services industrial boilers, HVAC equipment, air compressors, pumps, and filtration systems. Alec started with Tate in 2014 as service manager for Baltimore/Washington and took over as President & CEO in 2018. Prior to Tate, Alec worked as a professional pilot and continues to fly to this day.
