While founding Anderson TrueNorth in 2009, David served as an Executive Advisor to McKinsey & Company (a global strategic advisory firm), having previously held senior level positions within Cardinal Health, Inc., including: President, Hospital Supply Distribution; Executive Vice President, Health Systems and Alternate Care; Senior Vice President/GM of Innovation and Strategy; Senior Vice President/GM, Strategic Pricing & Operations within the Healthcare Supply Chain Services Sector; plus Corporate Region Vice President within the Corporate Solutions group; and Vice President, Consulting and Services.

David began his healthcare career in 1990. Preceding his leadership experiences at Cardinal Health, he held positions in sales, sales management, and service operations management with Allegiance Healthcare Corporation and Baxter International, Inc.

David has also served on the Board of Directors for the Howard County Chamber (including as Board Chairman), the Health Industry Distributor Association (HIDA), SourceMark USA, JPB Strategic Advisors, and Mediclick, Inc.; Doctors Community Hospital Foundation, and There Goes My Hero Foundation. He has also participated as a member of the Executive Leadership Council and has continually contributed other leadership efforts focused on the advancement of community health & development, as well as mentorship of middle market businesses and executive business leaders.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He completed his Masters of Business Administration at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
