Matt graduated from Maryland with a technology degree in the mid-90’s and went to work for the family business, designDATA, which is an IT / Managed services Provider. He holds numerous certifications from Microsoft and VMware, and enjoys translating techspeak Klingon for non-IT Executives, so that they can make solid technology decisions for their businesses.

designDATA was sold in 2015, and Matt stayed on and ran the business until February 2023. Matt now runs xop.ai—a technology firm that helps small and medium sized organizations take advantage of cost-effective, safe, and practical automation, plus AI that drives efficiency to the bottom line.
